What We Believe
At CAD, we believe in a generous orthodoxy, welcoming both Christians and non-Christians to learn more about God.
We believe that the Bible is God’s word, it is true and was written by people that He inspired to write it.
We believe in one God who is three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that God the Father created the world and has a relationship with all people and events.
We believe that the Son, Jesus Christ, was born to a virgin. He became a man but was still God. He died for the sins (things that we think, say, and do that are not what God wants) of all people. He rose from the dead to defeat sin and death. He saves all people who come to Him. Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father now. He will return to the earth to judge the living and the dead.
We believe that the Holy Spirit has always existed but came to all believers in Jesus beginning at Pentecost. He lives in every believer and is the source of all faith, worship, and service.
We believe that God made the first man and woman, Adam and Eve, to be like Him but they did not obey God. Now all people are full of sin and are separated from God until they accept the gift from God that is belief that Jesus is the way to be forgiven.
We believe that all people who accept Jesus want to follow God’s ways and not our sinful ways. We use the gifts that God has given us to serve Him and to help other people know Him.
At CAD we believe that God has called and equipped us to be laborers together with Him. We believe that God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth. We believe that God has called us to provide children who are deaf and hard of hearing a Christian school where they can receive a quality education within a safe and nurturing environment where our students can grow in the knowledge and love of God and neighbor and become equipped to lead and serve throughout their lives.
